Thank you for your interest in submitting materials or ideas to Big Small Town Studios for consideration. Unfortunately, due to legal issues concerning intellectual property rights, we are generally unable to accept ​unsolicited screenplays, treatments, beat sheets, etc. While our team consists of a diverse group of individuals, and while we do strive to tell a broad range of stories through our filmmaking, we generally adhere to a very specific set of criteria when it comes to taking on new projects, or developing ideas into full-fledged scripts.

    Despite this, we do not want to discourage anyone from sharing the next great idea that could end up being a marketable, produce-able story. To that end, we have created this form for submissions. It is the one and only place we will accept any such material. To submit to us, you must fill in every item on this form, and you must check the box at the bottom stating your understanding of the terms (which are outlined in the "Terms of Submission" section below).

    Material submitted via this form is limited to text only. We ask that you do not copy and paste full screenplays, novels, outlines or treatments in this form. Material should be limited to between 500 and 1,000 words (3 Word document pages maximum) if possible. If you are making a pitch, you should be able to do so in a few paragraphs at most.     TERMS OF SUBMISSION:

    1. I, the below named submitter (hereinafter "Submitter"), understand that any material (hereinafter "Submission") I submit to Big Small Town Studios (hereinafter "Studio") via this form or any other avenue of communication (including, but not limited to, digital or online communications of any kind, standard or "snail mail" communications, text or instant electronic messaging, etc.) shall be considered unsolicited by the Studio.

    2. Submitter warrants that the Submission is transmitted to the Studio voluntarily, and that no material representation has been made by the Studio to suggest that Submitter is owed any compensation for said Submission, under any circumstances whatsoever, until and unless, and not before, such time arises that Studio might seek to option the Submitter's idea for development, at which time a legal option agreement shall be executed between the Studio and Submitter.

    3. Submitter relinquishes the right to bring suit against the Studio for any actual or perceived adaptation or use of any text, images or any material whatsoever transmitted to the Studio in any fashion (whether electronically or otherwise), including the Submission, given the "unsolicited" status of the material, as agreed to in Item 1. Submitter further understands that any perception of violation of intellectual property rights may be construed as a result of similar concepts or ideas already in development, or with the potential to be developed, by the Studio.

    4. Due to the volume of materials received at any given time, Submitter understands that (s)he may receive no reply from the Studio with regards to the Submission.

    5. Submitter accepts that all terms outlined here are final and binding as they pertain to the Submission, or any and all other materials transmitted to the Studio by any means whatsoever.
